Albert Einstein once said “I have no special talents, I am just passionately curious”, and to channelize this curiosity Delphique was born. For the uninitiated Delphique is Management Development Institute’s National Management Convention during which stalwarts from the industry descend to discuss issues of current interest across business functions with the students of MDI. The topics span management disciplines ranging from mergers and acquisitions to environmental impact.

Delphique’s uniqueness lies in its strong research focus. Preparation for each panel is done by students thoroughly researching the topic under the guidance of faculty, with the help of industry practitioners. The result is a fresh perspective and exchange of ideas between the leaders of today and those of tomorrow. The research presentation is followed by the panel discussion.

Continuing the tradition of constant innovation Delphique ’07 touched newer heights with the introduction of Knowledge Partners – KPMG & Datamonitor. The compendium was a big success with the Corporate-houses and Disha, the in-house newsletter sparked the interest of the student body.

The 11th chapter of Delphique was inaugurated by Mr. Arun Maira, Chairman, BCG India. Other renowned speakers included Mr. Bob Erickson, COO, WalMart India Technical Consulting and Services Pvt Ltd; Dr Jyoti Parikh, Exec-Director, Integrated Research and Action for Development (IRADe); Mr. Rakesh Sharma, Global Head, Human Resources, Dabur Pharma Ltd; Mr. Pratyush Kumar, CEO – GE Infrastructure India; Ms. Latika Khaneja, Director – Collage Sports Management and many more.
